As part of our mission to reform laws and policies on sexual violence, and, promote empowerment and protection of civil society leaders and women in public office, SAHR regularly submits thematic reports to the UN Special Rapporteurs and UN CEDAW. These have ranged from legal empowerment, the situation of women civil society leaders in conflict and post-conflict/crisis contexts, and women’s equal and inclusive decision-making. We have also submitted thematic reports to the United Nations CEDAW Committee on the laws on sexual violence in countries under review.
